We worked closely with Eliza­beths brand design team in Lon­don We Are Human Lon­don to co-create her web­site. Lon­don We Are Human Lon­don did the think­ing and we recom­men­ded the par­ental tem­plate for the web design and did the cod­ing, adding our own little touches of magic to enhance the user exper­i­ence. We used CSS3 trans­ition effect to give it a softer feel, the but­tons change col­our through a trans­ition when you click them and thus mak­ing them more user friendly.

Angus Watt is an inter­na­tion­ally acclaimed fine artist who com­mis­sioned Planxdesign to improve his online pres­ence. We advised him on using social media, twit­ter, FB and Google for rais­ing his pro­file on searches. We designed and coded him a web­site which reflec­ted his own ori­ginal design and which is mod­ern and user friendly.

Angus Watt is a highly regarded inter­na­tional artist who cre­ates install­a­tions in the land­scape with large scale, bespoke flags. He com­mis­sioned us to make a web video to illus­trate his unique art form. The video appears in the slide deck on his new web­site, which we have also designed and developed. PlanXdesign set up and recor­ded an inter­view with him and used his voice as a voice over to describe his life work as an artist. Dur­ing the voice over, videos of his flags show the many and vari­ous world class events and fest­ivals, he has been suc­cess­fully embel­lish­ing over the years. Angus provided us with his video back cata­logue of his doc­u­mented install­a­tions, which we then logged and integ­rated along­side recent shots taken by us. The film was story boarded to tell a simple story of how Angus works, from home, to his stu­dio and out in the field, as it were. The music is provided by Angus’ friend, musical com­poser Andy White.

Karo­lina Faulds needed a com­plete redesign and update of her exist­ing web­site — http://​www​.kar​odesigns​.com. We did this imple­ment­ing latest tech­no­logy such as HTML5 and CSS3. We changed the struc­ture and used the Light­box gal­lery plug in, to improve her users’ exper­i­ence when surf­ing through her design portfolio.

James is a very tal­en­ted pho­to­grapher and we, the graphic design­ers at planXdesign, were very excited when he asked us to cre­ate his online port­fo­lio. His pho­to­graphs speak for them­selves, they tell stor­ies and bring you into the very moment they were taken. It was an obvi­ous choice, to give the images as much view­ing space as pos­sible. We knew the design would have to be easy to nav­ig­ate and minimal.

Char­ley Case is an inter­na­tion­ally renowned artist of many dis­cip­lines. He is most fam­ous for his little fig­ures, which are painted dir­ectly onto walls and go to make up the lar­ger image of a tree. He is nomadic by nature and totally eco friendly, which meant we edited this entire film on solar. Edit­ing could only take place whilst the sun was hit­ting the solar pan­els. Char­ley cap­tures a subtle and hon­est beauty with his stills and video cam­eras. Char­ley likes to col­lab­or­ate with other artist and mix skills and so that is how became his edit­ors, ori­gin­ally for one piece then over time, eight­een video pieces were cre­ated. This piece is a sepia mont­age of Charley’s best work. We anim­ated pho­tos and draw­ings, layered foot­age and basic­ally worked very closely with Charley’s ideas to cre­ate a very spe­cial film. The film was com­mis­sioned by the City of Valen­cia to go in a glossy bro­chure which accom­pan­ied his exhib­i­tion at Sala Parpallo. The film is shown as part of an install­a­tion, pro­jec­ted from the ceil­ing into a large con­cave half sphere and rotates slowly around as you watch it from above. Rafflesia Designs is the name of a new cor­set design busi­ness. Our cli­ent took the name Rafflesia from the world’s largest flower, which can reach up to one meter in dia­meter. When she saw one in Indone­sia, she was so taken by the mag­ni­fi­cence of this rare flower that she decided to name her new busi­ness after it. We based our pre­lim­in­ary sketches from pho­to­graphs of the plant and decided to go with dis­play­ing it in a for shortened per­spect­ive with the petals either side drawn to resemble wings. The cli­ent chose the col­our scheme of red, black and sil­ver and although she ori­gin­ally reques­ted a dark back­ground, we all decided that the a lighter sil­ver back­ground would set off the red of the flower better.

Love2cre​ate​.org is a word­press web­site that has been designed from scratch for Kim Henry who is a busy per­former, writer and course leader. Kim needed a web­site that would be easy to update her­self and cap­able of being inter­act­ive with vis­it­ors, so that mem­bers of her writ­ing groups can post their own stor­ies and dis­cuss each oth­ers work there. The web­site con­sol­id­ates Kim’s vari­ous tal­ents into one place, as she com­bines dance, express­ive move­ment, theatre tech­niques, writ­ing and voice work in dif­fer­ent ways, to offer her cli­ents a full spec­trum of what she can do for them.
