Rafflesia Designs is the name of a new cor­set design busi­ness. Our cli­ent took the name Rafflesia from the world’s largest flower, which can reach up to one meter in dia­meter. When she saw one in Indone­sia, she was so taken by the mag­ni­fi­cence of this rare flower that she decided to name her new busi­ness after it. We based our pre­lim­in­ary sketches from pho­to­graphs of the plant and decided to go with dis­play­ing it in a for shortened per­spect­ive with the petals either side drawn to resemble wings. The cli­ent chose the col­our scheme of red, black and sil­ver and although she ori­gin­ally reques­ted a dark back­ground, we all decided that the a lighter sil­ver back­ground would set off the red of the flower better.

This logo has been designed for a life coach who uses yoga in her work. The logo image rep­res­ents the easy pose in Kunda­lini yoga and a blos­som flower, which ever way you choose to look at it, as the crossed legs become the petals and the torso becomes the sta­men or a dan­cing woman flow­ing upward. We aimed to express light­ness and  move­ment and we used our cli­ents favour­ite col­our. Our brief was also to make a sym­bol, some­thing like that of Chinese calligraphy.

This is the logo design for our off road enthu­si­ast friend. It has tyre tracks taken from his own 4×4 wheels, which we vec­tor­ised to be part of the design. The logo is sup­posed to reflect the fun to had with big dirty wheels!

Our cli­ent was launch­ing a new series of products. Hand craf­ted fair­ies made out of wire, crys­tals and recycled mater­i­als. She asked us to make her a new brand iden­tity, which would rep­res­ent these pieces. The name of the brand is “Wand-A-Full” and is defined by its logo, product tags and posters.

This is the final look of the Wand-A-Full logo.

The logo con­sists of an ori­ginal sketch of a mer­maid from the artists port­fo­lio that reflects her char­ac­ter and incor­por­ates her old logo of the mouth. The par­tial love heart in the back­ground is a sug­ges­tion of what often appears in her art work. This logo was designed for multi usage so it works for busi­ness cards but also as an anim­ated sequence to be used on the cred­its of the videos she produces.

We designed this logo with and for a local com­munity pro­ject which is about reju­ven­at­ing their rural land­scape by tree plant­ing. The image of the logo reflects their envir­on­ment, incor­por­at­ing rivers, rain­bows, the local build­ing style and a sunny smile.

The logo is made of four basic ele­ments: let­ter­ing; ‘world​stud​books​.com’, struc­ture; the circles rep­res­ents two 3D spir­als of DNA, arc; sym­bol­izes the rising world on the hori­zon and let­ter­ing; is under­lined for emphas­ise it is an inter­net address.

Logo design for Fies­tas de Arte

This logo is made of logo­type and the sym­bol for ‘peace’ made in the shape of Czech Bud­var bear bottle. Mis­spelling in the name is there on demand of the cli­ent and stands for ‘spang­lish’ as it’s the lan­guage spoken by the clientel.

This logo is from a sketch the cli­ent made her­self of the Earth as a sprout­ing seed, we took all the ele­ments she had designed and tidied them up, mak­ing a vec­tor graphic of the ori­ginal design and pla­cing it amongst the stars and select­ing the col­ours with the cli­ent. The logo is used for web site  and on the pack­aging of organic veget­able seeds.
