Emma Plunkett — Business Card

Using two of the main elements of her logo, we created an eye-catching design with the contact information aligned to the right, creating the balance with the left part of the visual image. The text is using Georgia, which is a serif typeface resonating with its individual typographic personality.

Alma de la Tierra — Business Card

This is an example of another double sided business card design. The front side contains only the logo of Alma de la Tierra and its business description. The card is optically divided into the white and blue parts, following the shape of the logo’s decorative lines. The design of the front is done in a way to make a strong first impression.

Giles Mitchell — Business Card

Giles is a tree surgeon. Following his brief, we have used a photo of a Kauri tree for the background. We have posterized the photo and simplified its colour scheme to bring the focus more on the text. The font, AJensonPro-Bold, provides a very eye-pleasing experience whilst the text stays nicely readable.

Total Solar Solutions — Business Card

This business card has portrait orientation and has been printed on 300 g/m2 card with one glossy side (the printed side) and matte for the back of the card. The design uses the company’s orange colour with a slightly lighter tone drawing the stripy sun in the background. The logo is placed at the top with blue writing underneath. The text is aligned to the right with company niche and contact information separated by horizontal lines.

Sorceress — Business Card

We created a new brand design for Sorceress in 2006. Amongst her other merchandise, we also designed a new business card look. We used her existing logo (photographic image of crystal love heart) on the light yellow background, as you can see on the picture below. The background is decorated by a light star ornament in the left bottom corner. We used this ornament across the whole brand design, unifying the connection amongst her different publicity products.

CRS#1138 — Business Card

This is a card planXdesign created for their own publicity, before changing their name to planXdesign. I considered the final look of the business card on paper first, I then pre-laid it in Photoshop, so it made it easy to design in InDesign. It is quite a complex design using an Illustrator — Photoshop — InDesign combo, where each layer of the background (Webdings mandala, film strip, each field of the film strip’s content, etc.) was created in Illustrator first. Effects have then been applied in Photoshop to give each layer the 3D feel.

There are two clones of the design, an English one in a blue colour and the Spanish one with a green background and yellow text. On the following picture you can see the Spanish version. The card has been printed on both sides on glossy card 300 g/m2.
