www​.ser​i​ously4x4​.co​.uk is an off road vehicle enthu­si­ast with whom we designed their logo, we then turned it into a vinyl graphic and applied it to the vehicle doors to advert­ise the web site. We then had some fun turn­ing the vehicles own tyre treads into a car sticker which crosses over the vehicle in 3 places.

Cli­ent came with an old paper sticker with the logo. The logo dia­meter was about 10 cm and it was prin­ted in green col­our on white paper. The first part of the job was to scan it in and con­vert into a vec­tors and inverse the col­ours as we were going to use light vinyl on dark back­ground. Com­plex­ity of the logo, espe­cially in the wheels and wind­screen of the styl­ized Land Rover made it quite a chal­lenge for weed­ing out the bits of vinyl we did not want to be transferred.

Sor­ceress — vinyl graphic design on the Doors of the Car

We were asked to reju­vin­ate old let­ter­ing on the sides of the van, which was peel­ing off. Our cus­tumer wanted to keep the design as sim­m­ilar as pos­sible. We man­aged to con­vinced him to have all the new let­ter­ing in the same font.

All the red writ­ing and the logo at the top of the van has been renewed with vinyl which comes with 7 years guar­an­tee from the supplier.
